(Chills) The Robert's Supreme Court

JUSTICE SCALIA: You really want us to go through these 2,700 pages?
(Laughter.)

JUSTICE SCALIA: And do you really expect the Court to do that? Or do you expect us to give this function to our law clerks?(Laughter.)

JUSTICE SCALIA: Is this not totally unrealistic? That we’re going to go through this enormous bill item by item and decide each one?

if they don't know what's in it? Why did they agree to hear the case if it all boils down to 'he said/he said'? Thomas should be disqualified from hearing this case anyway considering his wife's lobby efforts against the law they are considering.

why actually do their jobs? Because In our currnent state of delerious national division; a simple ruling from their "gut" will suffice. And not only suffice, will be gladly and willfully accepted as an "informed ruling" by the right wing.

The Left asks for accoutabilty, the right asks for and usually gets what they want to hear not what is good for the nation.

Judicial review is a thing of the past. Fascism isn't just a boot on your face forever, it's also lazy adhearence to the rule of law which allows mob mentality to be the judge, jury and executioner.

Frankly, that's your job as SC Judge. You have no other. Understanding the cases put before you is job 1. Of course, for Scalia, no research is needed, he already knows how he will rule without even picking up a piece of paper.
