SPRING LAKE PARK - Minnesota Nurses Association President Linda Hamilton hosted Kathleen Sebelius, U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services, at her home Friday for a discussion on health care.

The event marked the second anniversary of the federal Affordable Care Act, which is supported by the MNA and many other health care organizations.

Hamilton said efforts to overturn the legislation would limit women's access to health care and that "Being a woman shouldn't be a pre-existing condition."

Other participants in the discussion at Hamilton's home included U.S. Senator Al Franken, Congresswoman Betty McCollum and Governor Mark Dayton.
