You're a parent you think your kid is innocent but you still can't show your face?

Seriously... I would do anything short of and maybe even self immolation to save my child if I believe them innocent. The potential jury just saw a man ashamed of his son. A man that won't risk himself for his son. How pathetic...

And then after he was shot, Trayvon (according to the father) said "You got me."

Really a retired judge? And if true, how come that hasn't been said more. That could explain why Zimmerman went free.

and only contributes to the harassment of totally innocent people...could you kindly edit and remove that first picture, please?

You can instead merely state that demos with people carrying signs broadcasting private personal info have been held, without actually disclosing that erroneous address on the pic, here at DU, to anyone who might be passing thru. It is not right to do it to the Zimmermans and it surely is not right to do it to someone with absolutely no connection to this case.

No need to keep spreading that address around. Just explain what the poster entails.

So would my father.

Happily, it's never come to that.

But you can bet that most fathers would do damn near anything for their sons.

As one poster already noted, the Zimmerman family has legitimate reasons to lay low. Rich and famous people have the luxury of high-priced security. Regular people don't - their best bet is to wait it out and not draw undue attention to themselves.
