Zimmerman's father claims Trayvon told Zimmerman "YOU'RE GONNA DIE TONIGHT."

His father did an interview with Fox station in Florida.

"YOU'RE GONNA DIE TONIGHT. YOU'RE GONNA DIE NOW."

Lawrence O'Donnell just played it and at the end said "HE TOLD THE GUY WITH THE GUN 'YOU'RE GONNA DIE'?"

And O'Donnell also points out that neither George Zimmerman not Joe Oliver have shared this bullshit. This just came from the dad, today.

I can't believe that anyone would believe that Trayvon said that, due to his age and size, compared with GZ's, unless it was a response to something GZ said, like "you're gonna die tonight," and Trayvon responded, "No, YOU'RE gonna die tonight." Even that's a stretch, I think.

But GZ's dad wasn't there or on the phone with GZ, was he? Let's go with what we know. The girlfriend heard some things on the phone, and GZ said some things on the 911 calls. And there's the neighbor's 911 call with screams in the background.

news for hours every day. Although it doesn't sound like there's much of another side. Still, the presentation of rumors as facts, guilty before a trial, etc., is getting out of hand. It's gotten to the point of danger.

He's been on TV once, with his face obscured. That's reasonable, IMO.

He's wise to be afraid for his son's life, and his own. Read the posts here and around the internet. GZ would probably be killed if he went out in public.

It's critical that some other facts get out, besides those supporting "guilty of murder." If he wants a fair trial for his son (which he won't get at this point, probably).

He is correct to be afraid of his life. People are trying to hunt his son down and post addresses for others to track him down in person...and do ....whatever. I think someone would kill him. Or even anyone they think might be GZ.

There is no 'other side'. His son killed Trayvon Martin in cold blood and needs to be behind bars.

The "other side" is allowing a murderer to go free.

If this corrupt @sshole were afraid for his life, he wouldn't be on camera.

You've got to be taught
To hate and fear,
You've got to be taught
From year to year,
It's got to be drummed
In your dear little ear
You've got to be carefully taught.

You've got to be taught to be afraid
Of people whose eyes are oddly made,
And people whose skin is a diff'rent shade,
You've got to be carefully taught.

You've got to be taught before it's too late,
Before you are six or seven or eight,
To hate all the people your relatives hate,
You've got to be carefully taught

Very improbable. Especially in light of the recordings of the 911 calls. So Zimmerman, with a gun and a car, was so threatened by these words that he started calling for help and only stopped when he shot Martin.

I acknowledge that not all facts are known. But this claim falls flat on what evidence is thus far known.

First it was, "You got a problem?" Punch to the nose. "Well, now you do!" Now that is followed up with "You're gonna die, tonight. You're gonna die, now!"

I'm betting Zimmerman is a big Lee Marvin fan.

Zimmerman is the one who has a violent history, not Martin
Zimmerman is the one who carried a loaded gun (with permit), Martin unarmed
Zimmerman is the one who followed Martin, Martin felt a threat (his GF told so)
Zimmerman is the one who said "These assholes always get away" with frustration
Martin was happily talking with his girl friend over the phone.

On the other hand, maybe he should keep talking. The more he opens his mouth, the more his credibility (and that of his son) -admittedly low to begin with -is shot to pieces
