I have had several preventive care tests, vaccinations, and procedures, all entirely paid by my insurance co. These would not have been fully covered by the premiums my employer and I paid in the past.

The ins. co. more than doubled the deductible this year, but I am sure they would have done that (or worse) regardless of the law.

When the Congress is ready to get serious about controlling health care costs (e.g., limiting outrageous exec. salaries, moving to single payer), which are far higher than in other comparable countries, for comparable care, we will see much more progress on savings. But this is a step in the right direction.

1. It's saved me $8,515 so far this year in premiums alone. . .

I haven't a clue how much my wife may have saved this year in doctor visits and lab tests.

6. ACA WOULD have saved me $27000 a year for each of the five years I bought individual insurance

and paid $5000 deductibles for each member of my (ha) high risk family.

I want my $135,000 back. I will take a check, please.
