Like, science "cannot explain" the antikythera mechanism? Ah, yes, it can.

Not knowing precisely who made the thing is not the same thing as being "unable to explain" it, nor is it a phenomena, it's a device, made out of perfectly ordinary matter.

We know someone invented the antikythera mechanism, so it is not a natural discovery. All the other items on the list are natural discoveries.

I'd like science to explain why most journalists seems incapable of reporting accurately about scientific discoveries/topics.

Somehow the only way that science gets air-time in the msm is by converting it into sensationalist lunacy devoid of anything factual.

Which is regrettable, because there are many scientific topics/areas of research that are pretty damn entertaining without any further embellishment.

I'm not being a hall monitor douche - just explaining to anyone who wants to know.

I enjoy their channel and am subscribed, but you have to take everything in their videos with a grain of salt. Some of their videos are outright bullcrap, such as their "things you should know about GMOs" video.

The producer of these videos is pretty talented, though. They're good viewing if you don't pick them apart for accuracy.

Go to Taos,..... you'll find that 2% of the population hearing a "hum" is pretty benign. If you could silence the gurgling bong water sound, I'll bet 80% of em mistake the sound of burning patchouli as divine acknowledgement of their superiority to Santa Fe.
