Did Cliven Bundy kill the whole "Government Plantation" BS once and for all?

I certainly hope so.

Basically, the idea is that blacks in the US who may be recipients of some form of government assistance are as in bad of a situation (or as Bundy claimed, even worse) as they were back in the days of slavery?

I just find that whole argument so maddening and patronizingly offensive, and yet I heard it over and over.

The worst was when useful uber-idiots in the form of black conservatives such as Allen West would repeat it, so that the white conservatives could hide behind them and say, "It's not racist if a black person said it!"

But when a white person like Bundy says it, and in such a grand display of clear racist belief, one can't help but think what a pathetically horrible analogy it truly is.
