Did Comcast just shut down Thom Hartmann's call-in line?

I called the Thom Hartmann show today intending to talk about Cliven Bundy's slavery comments. While on hold, suddenly the line went silent. I switched from my phone to computer to listen to the show via http://youtube.com/thomhartmann (the live video stream works like TiVo, since you can rewind the show as it airs live) and realized that the phone & Internet at Thom's studio in DC went down. Keep in mind: at the beginning of today's show Thom commented against the FCC commish Tom Wheeler and suggested Wheeler is weakening Net Neutrality on his way to a cushy job at Comcast. Who provides the phone & Internet to Thom's studio? COMCAST! Dun dun dun.

(update) Just heard that the phones are back on. (1:15 pm PT)

Trees are blowing down and power is out in assorted towns and parts of cities/counties as a consequence.

Perhaps it it a generic connectivity issue due to loss of power here and there.
