Economic growth and job creation: FreeEnterprise.com gathered data on just how well the 50 states do at creating jobs and fostering economic growth. They ranked Colorado second in the nation for innovation and entrepreneurship (New Jersey was 14th), 14th in economic performance (New Jersey came in at 33rd), and eighth for business climate (New Jersey was 49th).

Hands down.
Disclaimer: I've never been to NJ, but it seems like sh*t-hole overall based on some research I did when considering a move to the East Coast.
Also, I don't smoke weed, so there's no unfair appeal from CO for me.

(262 posts)2. I just came back from NJ/PA
And driving down the NJ Turnpike showed me that driving down was a literal nightmare so we decided to avoid the NJ 'Pike on the way back, and came through PA and avoided the 'Pike altogether and their tolls. Only ended up paying the toll at the Outerbridge Crossing.
I'm unfamiliar with ANY of those references....
