That, and I don't need some dead grandpa telling me what kind of apps are too naughty for me.

My wife is about to go get another one today. She's used her 4 since it came out and is upgrading to the 5s.

I'm happy with my Android and my Windows Phone.

Heck, my Android is now 4 years old, I think. I got it around 2010 and it is working strong.

I got my windows phone from a Microsoft event, and that one is unlocked. It's been working great too.

Then again, I am not a fan of Samsung's design and layout. I have enjoyed my HTC.

The difference is rankings between apple and samsung are insignificant. 3-5 points on a 1000 point scale.

Trying to decide if we want to give the Samsung a try for it's larger screen. The iPhone has been flawless.

Being a belt-and-suspenders guy, I have a spare battery that I can hot-swap if I am out longer than one charge worth of time.

Now, how does one go about swapping a dead battery on an iPhone?

Oh, and I notice the iPhone beat my Samsung by 0.0047%. I think I can live with the difference.

with the iPhone for me. But you have to turn off stuff running in the background that you aren't using like Bluetooth and location services. I plug mine in the USB port in my car or truck when I'm driving to keep it charged. Otherwise it's good for a day of intermittent use and net surfing. You can also buy a snap on case that's also a large capacity external battery.
What did the iPhone beat the Samsung at? I don't see enough difference in the phones to push me one way or the other. I'd just like a bigger screen. The OS of both seems fine for my use. No brand loyalty or smug appeal with either.
