the fear culture
I know it's there. I see it every day. I'm just trying to figure out WHY it's there.
What are some people so afraid of that they think they need to arm themselves, even though statistics say that they are in more danger w/ a weapon in their home than they are of being harmed in their home from an intruder?
And people w/ lots of money.... they'd rather SPEND money to support people who promise no tax increases, than not make those campaign contributions and just pay the taxes that might fix things like SS and Medicare and the infrastructure and public schools....
Makes no sense.
