You try valiantly each day to distract the Woo Wars, Snowden Wars, and other stupid shit that I guess is supposed to pass for useful discource around here and I, for one, appreciate it.

It does my heart good to see, that although there is a very vocal and repetitive group of conservatives now screaming ad hominem attacks against liberals and progressive thought on this board (the left is now used as an insult in the party that had traditionally opposed the right), There are still voices on the left posting thoughtful ops from the left to balance attacks from the conservative right.

Once long ago, this forum was a place for liberal thought rather than conservative apologetics. back then posts like WillyT's were commonplace.
