PAPILLION, NE (KPTM) A rescue group fears it wont be able to continue to foster pets without owners much longer if it cant get more donations.
The Homeward Bound in the Heartland is asking the public to donate dog and cat food, cat and puppy formula, animal toys, cat litter and any other basic needs to help foster its animals.
Anything that will entertain a cat is a good thing, said Karen Laikko who was fostering two cats.
snip: To find more information on how you can donate, become a foster or adopt a pet through Homeward Bound in the Heartland, visit http://homewardboundintheheartland.org/.

continue to provide the much needed love and care for the most innocent among us. Perhaps they should be striving to enlist wealthy benefactors.
Love the pictures of your sweet little Dug. These wonderful creatures give so much in return for the simple act of caring.
