(19,339 posts)2. Nothing galvanized my pro-choice stance more than getting pregnant.
Getting pregnant in a planned, wanted way, I mean. Seriously, it was so awesome and powerful and scary, I couldn't imagine forcing anyone to do it if she didn't want to.
Both my children were planned for and while pregnancy and childbirth are not fun, I did it because I wanted to. I simply can't imagine going through it because I was forced to against my will.
It made me sad to think of all the women who were forced to go through with it, for whatever reason.
