Three years have gone by and I never knew such an amazing (sarcasm) product existed

Luckily I found this on upworthy. I suppose the only thing I can add it that the wonderful people who shop at Amazon are just about as witty and definitely excoriate Bic for their sexism. Here's the video. Worth the watch.

The organization had one they'd been using for awhile.

So, anyway, during a slow part of the meeting one evening, I glanced down at the gavel and began to look it over. Near where the handle attached to head of the gavel was a small inscription: "Ladies Gavel, Size 6".

As my mind began to turn that new fact over in my head, it was all I could do to continue to pay attention to the discussion enough to chair it.

"Ladies Gavel?"
"Size 6??"

Two astounding new facts: 1) Gavels apparently came in Mens and Ladies versions, and 2) Gavels had some sort of standard sizes. Ever since then, the world of gavels has never been the same for me.

It seemed like the perfect size and weight for me. Apparently, a Ladies Gavel, Size 6 is just perfect for a middle aged male in his late forties (at the time), and that's okay with me.

but they don't seem to have sizes. Not that I've looked that closely because I don't have anyone male to read it to me and well, little 'ol me, how am I suppose to suss out the not so obvious magnificence of this product?

Our friends who rate products at Amazon have taken this piece of crap to the dumpster heap, where it belongs. I wrote an evaluation too. Couldn't resist joining in on the fun. It's like a consequence free taking apart of a soon to be tombstoned rat.

Then, I got real, and sent BIC a note letting them know that while I am years behind, this product should have been canned long ago and until such time, I would not purchase anything BIC.

I actually did see this a few years ago. It is quite possibly funnier the second time around. Thanks for posting it!
