Terri LaManno, Dr. William Corporon, Reat Underwood

Just thought the victims of the shooting should get as much attention as the shooter.

"'I speak on behalf of my entire family that we are devastated by this loss. My mom was a beautiful soul. She always thought of everyone before herself, the world needs more people like her. She was a warm, loving and beautiful person. She was the best mother, wife, sister and friend that anyone could ask for. She lived for God and the people she loved. We ask that everyone respect our need for privacy as we grieve this tragic loss.' - The LaMannos"

Very nice tribute. I hope it does not invade their privacy to mention her name.

Reat was only 14, grandson of the retired doctor.

I find Reat to be an unusual name. Even Google cannot seem to tell me what it means, changing the search to "real". All other search results are just to the shooting victim.

Of course, they are only 3 of the 240 homicide victims in an average week in America, where our homicide rate is 4.8 per 100,000, compared to 1.6 for Canada, 0.8 for Germany and 3.8 for Niger.

But even Canada's homicide rate would give us 90 murders a week, or 390 a month. Even Germany's rate would give us 195 a month.
