The EU should step up and begin the course of expedited Ukrainian membership

Giving autonomy concessions isn't going to solve the problem it will just give Russia the chance to keep moving in. And it's not even what the people of the area want.

There would be huge costs financially to Europe but it's really the best way to shut Putin down now.
