Oni Press cuts ties with packaging supplier Uline over marriage equality.

Story here. Edited to add - i should make it clear that Uline has donated to many tea party candidates and to organizations that oppose marriage equality.

Oni Press has put out the Scott Pilgrim books as well as Queen and Country and Stumptown (Both by Greg Rucka) and The Sixth Gun (which is very good). They tend to take on a lot of more non-super hero esoteric projects, including a fair number of slice of life stories.

i left a post on their facebook site once. in wisconsin 2 years ago they sent walker 250,000 $ for the recall election.around that time they built this new facility in wisconsin and got 2 million $ in infrastructure and tax breaks.

their 2nd to the last catalog had a message from the CEO supporting fracking. Not that that wasn't enough to quit dealing with them but this cements the deal, they will never see another dollar of mine.
