2-year-old’s body ID’d as death toll in Oso landslide hits 35 (rescued 4 yr old's sister)
RIP Brooke. This is the sister of the 4 yr old who was rescued by a neighbor and helicopter.

RLINGTON, Wash. — The official death toll in Washington’s devastating mudslide increased to 35 Wednesday morning, authorities said, with the number of identified victims updated to 31.
The latest to be identified by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office was 2-year-old Brooke Spillers of Arlington. Billy Spillers was identified April 7.
Though crews are making their way and finding bodies, 11 people still remained on the missing list. The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office asked the public to contact them if they know the whereabouts of anyone on the missing list.

“We’re looking for that miracle out there right now,” he said. “I saw 400, 500 people out there (searchers) who are also looking for that miracle.” Identification of the victims has been challenging, another official said....

Last missing child of former Canonsburg man among dead in Washington mudsliden
A former Canonsburg man and three of his children all have been confirmed dead in the massive March 22 mudslide near Oso, Wash.
A 2-year-old daughter -- and last missing child -- of Billy L. Spillers, 30, was identified today by the Snohomish County medical examiner’s office. The girl, Brooke Spillers, died from blunt force injuries, according to the medical examiner.
Spillers, another daughter, Kaylee Spillers, 5, and his stepson, Jovon Mangual, 13, are also among the 35 dead in the slide.
His wife, Jonielle Spillers, and a fourth child were not at home when the slide hit. A donation site for the family has been set up....
