DANIEL STRAUSS APRIL 9, 2014, 11:10 AM EDT
The conservative website Red State is looking to heap revenge on Mozilla for the ouster of former CEO Brendan Eich.
On Tuesday night a blog post with the byline The Directors said that the site would be blocking the Mozilla Firefox browser from accessing most of the content on Firefox's front page because of "a conflict with the values of the Mozilla corporation."
Users trying to access the front page should be met with a message that read "Careful now! This website could not be displayed by Firefox because it is not consistent with Mozilla's corporate values. May we suggest visiting another site instead? Click anywhere to continue."
Mozilla said they are not blocking Red State in retaliation and had no further comment.

(20,889 posts)The only place I hear about the vast conspiracy against the CEO, who resigned of his own free will and certainly wasn't forced out, is on right wing media cites. The only place I see people care about the politics of the Mozilla CEO is on these RW cites. If liberals really could effect CEOs of corporations do they really think we'd pick Mozilla over EXXON, Halliburton etc...
No one cares about this accept the right wing people making $$ getting these fools to listen to their propaganda. This fake issue has bounced around GOP Grifter world from Herman Cain to Newt Gingrich. A virtual who's who of people that make money off creating fake issues for these people to be outraged over. As for the rest of us, we moved on long ago from both prop 8 and Mozilla.
