Obama Family Chili

The Obama campaign has expanded its social media presence with a new Barack Obama page on Pinterest, the fastest-growing network of “online pinboards” akin to digital scrapbooks.

The collection of images and links includes photos uploaded by supporters, campaign-produced infographics, Obama-Biden merchandise, and a first-ever glimpse at the Obama Family Chili Recipe.

The “official” first family recipe features ground turkey or beef, ground turmeric among the spices, and a healthy dose of red wine vinegar.

Chili is supposed to be BOLD. I'd increase to 2T chili powder and 1 T Cumin.

If you really want good chili, use Tri-tip instead of ground beef.

it's bold and spicy and doesn't require institutional animal torture, nor any other kind of torture. Many people have tried it and been unable to detect the lack of carrion. Either way, chili can be made meatless and taste so close to carrion chili that the difference just isn't worth torturing some creature for.

Because you know they are coming. How dare he and his family have a recipe for chili! We have to vote this person out of office before he has a recipe for everything delicious!

I make a lot of chili, and I never added tumeric

I did add cream of tartar once, and it added a certain creaminess to the chili
