Which probably intersects with Freedom is Slavery and Money Is Speech. Republicans have managed to marry conservative evangelicals into the moneyed establishment to increase their base. Which is why so many poor people vote against their own best interests. They use demagoguery to whip up people into rage and resentment of 'feminazis,' abortion, race issues, the Gay Agenda, czars, socialized medicine, commies, they're-coming-to-take-away-my-guns and a mountain of other fears and manufactured outrage.
