(43,049 posts)1. Did she "speculate" on whether this is a special grand jury...
convened specifically for government corruption or mob investigations?
Or is it the garden variety grand jury that investigates anything brought to it by a prosecutor?
Or why anybody outside of the jury room should care?

(13,190 posts)2. She didnt say she just said that the Grand Jury has been convened for awhile
She speculated that there was no new Grand Jury other than the one that's been there all alone. But she also said if true a brand new Grand Jury would be a big deal

this is coming from Drewniak's own lawyer....
A grand jury is now hearing testimony in the federal criminal probe into the George Washington Bridge lane-closings scandal, according to Anthony Iacullo, the lawyer for Gov. Chris Christies spokesman, Michael Drewniak, who added that Drewniak appeared before the grand jurors today and testified as a witness.
They had Joe Maraziti in to talk about Hoboken, they put Drewniak on the stand in front of the grand jury, I've heard from "a friend" that Wildstein has cut a deal for immunity (that does not come from a completely objective person) but the bottom line is that things are starting to happen.
