(146,218 posts)They are using this time to make badly needed changes in Medicare. This will make it a much more viable option for the single source provider/payer.
And the health insurance companies, despite reports to the contrary, hate this plan.
I remain very optimistic.

(21,475 posts)than a mandate everybody must have Health Insurance? Or every employee must purchase retirement insurance (Social Security). Both the Medicare and Social Security (FICA) are Mandates, so how are they any different than a Health Insurance Mandate
