I don't know if it is photoshopped or not. It may be. However, in the course of speaking, we all make some weird faces which look normal in the process of speaking but look pretty horrific if frozen.

Obviously calling Malkin ugly based on her speech and actions is fine. But to call her ugly just based on looks relatively relegates most of the human population into the 'ugly' bin.

She looks unattractive when twisting her face into bizarre expressions, and I notice that in each of those unattractive pictures, she seems to be expressing herself stridently, the way one does when angry or aggresive. That is not unusual. When someone is expressing herself/himself angrily or stridently, the overwrought emotions tend to stretch and twist the face in unattractive ways.

As it happens, she often expresses ugly emotional reactions, and those emotions are of the sort that tend to distort one's features, so you could properly say that ugliness inside manifests itself in outward ugliness.

But in terms of her facial features, she is actually quite lovely. That just makes it sadder, though, that she distorts her natural beauty with ugly attitudes and words.

Objectively, if I didn't know what I know about Ann Coulter, I'd probably say she's attractive. To be honest, though, now that I've heard some of the horrible things she says, I find her absolutely repulsive the second I see her picture.

I probably haven't heard enough of the things Malkin says to become repulsed by her yet, and frankly, I don't give a damn what she says so I refuse to even find out.

It IS possible for someone to say something so hateful that you no longer find them attractive, you just find them hateful.

Similarly, I won't deny that Sarah Palin is also on the surface an attractive woman.

But Malkin does have a weird way of making odd facial expressions often caught on camera, which are fun to exploit because when a normally attractive person has an underlying inner ugliness to him or her, it's all fair game in my opinion.
