About an hour ago on Facebook, Dave Elswick, a "conservative" talk radio host on station KARN announced that he had been fired by Cumulus along with the news director and one other. He did not give a reason. The only news I could find on Cumulus was regarding a republican rep who will be taking a radio gig with them instead of running for reelection.
Probably not a big deal to anyone outside of this area, but he's been the local Rush Limbaugh wannabe for a long time. I'm glad to see him gone.

(5,105 posts)Cons seem to love it when children parrot their nonsense.
Child preachers, like the 4-yr-old that "preaches" against gays, Marjoe Gortner, Michael Lord, and the kid who "wrote" the recent book about going to heaven and coming back to tell about it. These appeal to those whose own level of understanding is on a childlike level, ie, cancervatives.

(9,462 posts)he may have a tough election coming up, or an affair that might be revealed or something like that. From WaPo:
Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Mich.), the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, plans to retire from Congress after his current term to host a national radio show syndicated by Cumulus Media, he announced Friday.
