7. I was in the military for 24 years

No way should every Sailor (at least) get a weapon. Good Lord….you could not imagine. I loved being in the military but to give every Sailor a weapon would be a very very bad idea. I can't speak for the other forces but perhaps others could. I am taking an educated guess that others in the other forces would agree with me on their respective time in their service.

6. No, I'm thinking that this and the shooting on the Navy Base

a couple of weeks ago is the result of allowing every Tom, Dick and Henrietta to be allowed to own and carry a firearm.

I think the military knows better than these assclowns why only MP's have weapons on military bases. Except I think that my son who's going into the Marine Corps. will have to sleep with his firearm, the one who went into the Army was punished when someone didn't turn all of the ammo in from the firing range. Tom , Dick and Henrietta want to have all of the ammo. they want, the military checks it.
