I have to say, that whomever made the decision to enlist this man as the chief, non-attorney defender of George Zimmerman is, in fact, a complete fucking idiot of epic proportions.
It was the worst thing that anyone could have done if they wanted to both ameliorate public outrage and put Zimmerman in a positive light.
Add that to the outrageous smears by the right wing hate parade AND the Sanford PD's blatant attempts to cover up their gross negligence.
And last, but not least, his lawyer, Craig Sonner
A coward, liar and a man who is plainly unable to defend his client in any suitable fashion.
So it more than completely obvious, that if you're not standing with Trayvon Martin, his family and his supporters
Then you're standing with liars and utter fools.

(6,086 posts)talking nonsense. That man knows, at 53 years old, that he's not the best buddy/friend/pal with that 28 year old murderer. Like I told someone earlier, I may be many things but stupid ain't one of them.

(14,732 posts)Oliver. His motives are highly suspect and his real involvement with Zimmerman doubtful. But I don't see why you're calling Zimmerman's lawyer a "coward, liar and man unable to defend his client"? What on earth do you base that on?

(14,732 posts)with a T.V. interview. There's really very little he can say without prejudicing his case and his client. I don't know why he agreed to it in the first place but I don't think it's a cowardly move, rather he (or someone else) thought better of it. And I agree with him in not doing it.
