New Orleans Police Officer Suspended For Saying Trayvon Martin Was A 'Thug' And Deserved To 'Die

Like One"

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/03/26/new-orleans-police-office_n_1381003.html

The New Orleans police department has suspended an officer under who is currently under investigation for a fatal police-involved shooting for posting that Trayvon Martin "acted like a thug" and deserved to "die like one" in a comment on a news website.

The comment appeared on Sunday night beneath a news article about a rally for Martin.

When another commenter called Griroir's posting racist, Giroir replied, "Eddie come on down to our town with a 'Hoodie' and you can join Martin in HELL and talk about your racist stories!:-P," according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune.

All sorts of scum scurrying into the light.

Jason Giroir is already under investigation for killing an innocent unarmed black male on his way to work. I'm sure these comments won't help him and glad they are at least investigating the racist idiot.

Post shooting, while the investigation is going on, I believe most cops are given a "desk" job, not allowed to be on the street. You can't fire them for the shooting until/unless an investigation is completed to show what happened.

In this case, the cop opening his mouth for his foot to be inserted may be a good thing.
It certainly is not going to help his case.

And hopefully the NOPD is by now very very sensitive to issues of police brutality.
In fact, they may still be under Federal watchdog...I am not sure if that is continuing.

Sometimes I wish they wouldn't have them at all, but this guy fragging himself and getting suspended might send a message? I hope.

So you can see the faces of the idiots who leave these comments. Thankfully they're morons who don't mind showing the world that they're racist scum because now they can be caught.

I suspect these are the kind of people who are treacherous to anyone that crosses them in any way whatsoever, personally or professionally. Scares me to think of this going on anywhere.
