Moonlight is ill chosen as I think it implies that Jake Rush makes money doing this - but apparently yes, someone running for office as a Republican participated in LARPs and other roleplaying games.

Here's Jake Rush's issues page. He's a bog standard Republican, from what i can tell. Hates Obama Care, favors a pro-active military policy, pro gun, anti abortion. He is aware that Veterans are getting a bum deal, but that seems to be it.

I don't know if hammering him on the roleplaying/Larp bit is a big deal compared to all the many awful stands he has taken elsewhere, but it's possible that Conservative Christians in his district won't much like this, and there fore its worth doing. As a Roleplayer myself, I'm not excited about my pastime (and the pastime of many others) held up to ridicule though.

what he does in his free time, as long as he does't hurt anyone else, is his own business, and besides that LARPing, or role-playing in any shape or form is NOT something to be ashamed of.
