you have to put up with it no matter if you feel scared. And the person following you doesn't have to have a badge. As a woman, I really object to this. How can you tell that the person with 100 pounds on you isn't a bad actor? If I was a man I might lash out physically. As a woman I lash out verbally.

(118,677 posts)Where was his mistake? Because it looks like Zimmerman may be perceived as not-at-fault by the law. So how would somebody avoid death under this law? Surely there must be some sort of lesson for 17 year olds everywhere?

(37,305 posts)I once screamed to myself in frustration at a car that had cut me off. The person saw me scream and got out of her car and she was really scary looking. Now I just shut up even if no one hears me.

(304 posts)Just avoid it, like you said, even if you are in the right. Unless Zimmerman just ran him down and gunned him down. I don't think that is the case. I am sure Zimmerman said something, probably something he shouldn't have, and Trayvon said something back.
