If Democrats of conscience like her can't break the stranglehold the corporate compliant ones have on the party, it will die shortly after the Republican Party does.

The corporatistas think they've got the Democratic base "locked down," but they would do well to look at history and how quickly new "second" parties rose up when existing ones failed to listen to their bases.

Most of the upper echelon of the Democratic Party would do well to listen and learn from this REAL Democrat.

You want the Koch GOP to get a blank check to do whatever they want in 2016? You want Rand Paul as Senate majority leader which would set the stage for him becoming president in 2016? This scares the living shit out of me, and it should scare the living shit out of you too.

should be in Republican hands. Democrats have got to work to get
both houses -- both in 2014 and 2016. I don't think the chances
are too good in 2014, but they will be better in 2016.

I'd much rather have her continue as my senior Senator for many years to come. She, like Ted Kennedy before her, can accomplish so much more in the Senate than she ever could as President.

Regardless of her designs on the office, I would be very interested in hearing more from her. I think a virtual pamphlet summarizing her stands and priorities would be a tonic to the public discourse. God knows we need a tonic...

I learned to observe actions instead of promises. That is why I am a Bernie Sanders supporter (x10).
Elizabeth Warren is definitely proving herself to be "one of us."

but that's par for the course. No politician who isn't 'me' is going to agree with me 100% of the time.

Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, and my own Senator, Sherrod Brown, are the 3 best people in Congress in my books.

Even if according to some ranking out there' there are 30 more 'liberal' Senators out there than EW, she's focused on the defining aspect of our time. Wealth Inequality.

Talking about giving people 'equal opportunity' is nice, but it's never really anywhere near equal in reality. Equal opportunity is saying 'The rich and the poor alike are banned from sleeping under bridges and on steam grates'. They all have the 'opportunity' to sleep wherever it's legal for them to do so if they can afford it. Actual equality is saying 'The rich and poor alike have the right to sleep indoors, in a safe, temperature controlled environment.' And then instigating policies to make it happen.

"Equal opportunity" is merely handing out lottery tickets so that everyone has a 'chance' at not being impoverished.
