Toyota owners here is the deal

I was all over the Toyota recalls a few years ago with post after post in LBN. GM has now taken that spot in LBN including a problem I had with MY Cobalt that was just added yesterday to the expanding list.

Marta is serving me crow instead of chicken tonight.

Apology accepted?

I doubt I'll ever be able to afford a new car again, so I'm really grateful to be driving my 10 yo, 99K 'yota that gets me where I'm going reliably. Were I ever to be in the market for a new car, I'd be looking to see what vehicles met my requirements, and then which of those had the highest "made in america" rating.

At the very top of that list is the "takes a lickin', keeps on tickin'" factor: Must run well for many years and many miles on basic maintenance without needing repairs.

Vent selenoid... replaced... 4 months out of warranty.

Total cost: $5,000

Crab on any number of GM's social media pages or Edmunds and get half back...because they refuse to acknowledge that they make a crap transmission.
