Nothing like FF evacuating stations. This tells me in San Diego it was not that bad

not-so-tiny quakes we have had in recent weeks and months are leading up to another big nasty like Northridge within a few years.

I just hope it happens far from me. One Northridge in a lifetime is plenty for me.

I still remember hearing the news, "breaking" on my crappy car radio-cassette player, covering the '89 San Francisco quake and how all of us just felt horrid when we heard that "part of the top deck of the Bay Bridge has just collapsed onto the bottom level." Ugh. I used to drive over to the City and back to the East Bay on that bridge nearly every day.

I hope everyone is well -- thanks for the posts from our DUers in the sunshine state!
