Trayvon Martin Shooter Told Cops Teenager Went For His Gun

Trayvon Martin Shooter Told Cops Teenager Went For His Gun

http://abcnews.go.com/US/trayvon-martin-shooter-teenager-gun/story?id=16000239

George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watch crime captain who shot dead 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, originally told police in a written statement that Martin knocked him down with a punch to the nose, repeatedly slammed his head on the ground and tried to take his gun, a police source told ABC News.

Zimmerman had claimed he had called police about Martin, whom he found suspicious, then went back to his car when Martin attacked him, punching him.

The new information is the most complete version yet of what Zimmerman claims happened on the night of Feb. 26 when he shot and killed the teenager.

In addition, an eyewitness, 13-year-old Austin Brown, told police he saw a man fitting Zimmerman's description lying on the grass moaning and crying for help just seconds before he heard the gunshot that killed Martin.

And, if Zimmerman is the one who initiated contact, aren't all kids taught by the parents and law enforcement speakers to scream, punch and kick at any adult stranger who approaches them too closely for no reason?

And several times they aimed to kill. In fact, one of the guyswe saw burglarize the school, got stabbed in the gut, by the third guy in our group that night. a few months later. He confronted our guy, and threatened death.

My point, when I was a teen, if a guy gave chase by car, then exited the vehicle furthering the chase, when he got close to my hiding place, I would kill him with my bare hands.

Captain? Of what? The guy wasn't even registered with any legitimate neighborhood watch organization. He was a loose cannon, acting on his own.

This is an attempt to legitimize Z's non-existent credentials. ESPN referred to him as an "officer" during an on-air report the other day. Really? An officer, as in, police officer?

Such transparent bull, but many will fall for it.

I want to know why he claims he started following Martin in the first place and his full timeline of events...

I also want to know why the police and DA have sat on his statement so long instead of releasing it (the tinfoil in my scalp keeps telling me the "official" statement may have some addendums or edits to it)

He got out of his car and did what? What was he coming back to his car from? Did he get out and walk ten steps and then turn around? How do you get punched in the nose from behind?

That's what interests me most: finding out what happened from the time Zimmerman exited his car, until the time his nose was punched. Therein lies the answer.

Zimmermaqn caused all this. If and I mean If Trayvon did go after him, so what. Zimmerman went after him first. Maybe Trayvon thought he would protect his ground and get that POS out of there. I hope they at least put Zimmerman in jail till there's a trial. I just hope they can have a trial after the police fucked up everything. I do not believe that Trayvon attacked Zimmerman, I'm just saying so what.

A stalker, with a gun bulge chases you by car, then gets out. Stalks you to between houses, then confronts you. What if Zimmerman was already hand on gun? What if he simply was told break off, and ignored that sage cop advice? he still runs the risk of getting his misunderstood ass kicked, righteously. Without penalty, given he is a stalker.

MSNBC just said that Zimmerman is now claiming that Trayvon "grabbed his head and slammed it repeatedly into the sidewalk."

So this 17 year old ice tea & Skittles-toting KID who weight 100 pounds less than Zimmerman knocked him down, broke his nose, clammed his head into the sidewalk over and over and over and went for his gun.

GOT it.

Which leads me to believe that he gave this version in the beginning. It's only new to us. It's apparently not new to the cops. Whether it's true or not, only Zimmerman knows.

But it's certainly plausible. If your opponent pulls out a gun during a fight, it's in your best interest to do all you can to get it out of their hands. You don't want to lunge for it if you're too far away, but if it's close quarters, it's probably smart to try to grab it or at least knock it away.

So if Martin did in fact punch Zimmerman, he was acting in self defense. You cannot chase someone, thereby starting a confrontation and then if the person you are confronting gets the better of you, claim self defense when you yourself started it. Martin had just as much right to defend himself as Zimmerman does.

blood not belonging to Trayvon on Trayvon's body, and his fingerprints would have also been on the gun.

Good thing the Sanford Police has their crackerjack forensics team there to secure the scene...

If they were found anywhere near the dead body, it suggests that the victim wasn't aggressive. Someone going for a gun or going after the shooter wouldn't be doing it with groceries in his hand(s).
