Cyber-era wonderful technology comes with social downsides. These include
lack of jobs, less education for the populace, and less leadership from the population.
I've outlined the lack of jobs creation due to productivity gains and a solution of lowering SocSec to age 50.
Less education is being practiced via charter schools by recking teacher tenure and turning schools into profit centers while serving the top 10%.
The unspoken problem is the ability or inability of the populace to adapt to change. IMO, we are in a "shelter in place" phase. A very dangerous place for a society centered on feedback and participation.
To me the middle class is in a total shutdown and survival mode, waiting for someone to come and show them the way. This is why the new pope has become a pop star, but....history is also full of pretenders that have inflamed the world in death and destruction.
IMO, this is why politics is not having any effect unless it has a religious follow me message, the Elmer Gantry method. We have adapt our message accordingly.
