So, Rick Scott's campaign takes 1 mil donation from some guy called Fernandez...

and he walks off when he catches Rick Scott's people talking in a Mexican accent.

Rick Scott campaign ad talk turns to questions about resignation of big donor

But Lopez-Cantera's telephone news conference came amid reports that the Let's Get To Work campaign's finance co-chairman Mike Fernandez of Coral Gables quit.

During the weekend, the Miami Herald reported that Fernandez, a billionaire who personally donated $1 million to the campaign in November, raised concerns about campaign associates "joking around in over-the-top Mexican accents" during a campaign trip. The paper said he resigned from the campaign.

During the news conference, Lopez-Cantera said, "We don't tolerate inappropriate comments, and I don't believe they even happened."

Donating a million is pretty much guaranteeing access (at the slightest) or influence. Why vote for Governor when you could just buy one?
