the population in 1990 was 80% non-Hispanic white. By 2000? 75%. 2010? 72%. That 1.9% decline in the Democratic share of the white vote, and the 3.5% increase in the Republican share of the white vote, are both far less than the relative decline of the white population as a whole.

and as demographics continue to shift, we gain even more of an advantage

They should have broken down by white male and white female. I didn't see that further break. That would be good info. I bet white males vote at least 10% more Republican than their white female counterparts.

in 2008 i think palin was the reason republicans lost some of those voters and they went back to voting republican in 2012.
