Lawyer claims Zimmerman tried to render aid to Trayvon, but witness says no CPR or aid was given

Witness: Zimmerman 'never ... tried to help' Trayvon Martin
By NBC News, msnbc.com staff and news services

<..>

"I think there were efforts made to render aid to Trayvon," Craig Sonner told NBC's TODAY show.

Mary Cutcher told Dateline that she and her roommate both saw Zimmerman "straddling the body, basically a foot on both sides of Trayvon's body, and his hands pressed on his back."

Cutcher added that Zimmerman told her and her roommate to call the police.

"Zimmerman never turned him over or tried to help him or CPR or anything," Cutcher said.

Not only is Zimmerman a liar, but it appears his lawyer is a liar as well.

I'm guessing that Zimmerman most likely told the police that he tried to give aid to Trayvon Cali_Democrat Mar 2012 #11

They're better off all STFU, because if the Feds are building a case, they're going to be shown to be doing nothing but lying and/or speculating.

I hope the Sanford PD goes down in the process for their bullshit explanation to Trayvon's father.

If I just shot someone in "defense" as he has claimed, why would I lift a finger to help the person who just tried to kill me?

Seems a strange thing to claim.

I would be shooting to stop the attack, not to kill.

And in that case I'm looking to kill the person before they kill me. I'm not going to help them. Of course this is all hypothetical, who really knows what they'd do? I hope to never be in that situation, I don't want to kill, maim or otherwise hurt anyone.

I don't want to kill anyone, but I'll use deadly force to stop a serious attack. If the first shot knocked them down, I wouldn't stand over them and shoot, no matter how pissed or scared I was.

Once the attack is over, I'd do my damndest to save their life.

so they have to go with it. Unfortunately for them, there's a witness who says otherwise.
