The moral thing to do regarding Fred Phelps *Content advisory: there is some cursing*
The moral thing to do, when someone like Fred Phelps dies, is not to cheer and jeer and deride... but to mourn an opportunity lost... the chance that Fred could have learned human compassion and could have passed that along to his church. That they might have showed up to all those funerals in support of those who died instead of some protest under false notions of what is right.
Yes... that'd be the moral thing to do.
But, I was in the US ARMY as an Infantryman...and I was not issued a sense of morality. Those were my brothers and sisters in arms. They went through what no one should have to. They paid the ultimate price. And for Westboro Baptist Church to denigrate that...
So, please forgive my lack morality when I say: fuck you Fred Phelps, and your degenerate congregation. May you suffer the festering cesspool of whatever is left of your worthless lives, full well in the knowledge that you're not fit to remove the sludge and grime from the boots of a single one of those whom you boycotted.
I wish to each and every member of Westboro Baptist Church the harshest thing I can think of: That they be confronted by the lessons they have taught.
