Britain calls for Russia to be expelled from G8

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/ukraine/10708983/Britain-calls-for-Russia-to-be-expelled-from-G8.html

Britain has called for Russia to be ejected permanently from the G8 group of wealthy nations if it continues meddling in Ukraine.

The warning from David Cameron came as Ukrainian troops began abandoning bases in the breakaway region of Crimea, in the face of aggressive raids by pro-Russian forces.

Mr Cameron told Parliament on Wednesday that if Moscow continued its armed showdown in Crimea, other members of the G8 would have to consider expelling Russia for good.

"I think it's important we move together with our allies and partners, and I think we should be discussing whether or not to expel Russia permanently from the G8 if further steps are taken," he told the weekly session of Prime Minister's Question Time.

And apparently, if you don't live in the U.S., even if you were born and raised there, even if you've only been gone for a few years, even if you still pay AMERICAN TAXES, even if your entire birth family is in America, even if you are COMING BACK, you're not even allowed to talk about the place and God knows you sure as hell aren't allowed to defend it, particularly with the current occupant of the White House.

The fact that these types of comments always seem to come from the same crowd that seems to honestly believe that everything that happens in the world is the United States' fault is just a coincidence, I'm sure. Every country is a proxy for the United States, but we still don't want your opinion unless it's negative.

For the record, I'm sure that Merkel and Cameron have their own explicit reasons for wanting Russia removed from the G8.

I think she has her own best interests at heart. I truly do. And I don't blame her. Her country is a lot closer (physically) to this potential man made disaster than we are.
