I reckon USA surveillance apparatus finally found that Plane

Last edited Thu Mar 20, 2014, 12:49 AM - Edit history (4)

It sounds like someone probably told Australia their satellite found debris from the plane at x coordinates. (Australia PM said they had "received information".)

And from a source Australia accepted as so reliable the PM would rush to Parliament to make an announcement before Australian planes had a chance to check the information.

Probably our version of phoning in an anonymous tip. Not really anonymous, but not necessarily wanting the credit.

If that's all the case, yet another excellent job by the current presidency in not leaking something.

On Edit Reckon I was probably wrong. At the press conference it sounds like the Aussies got commercial satellites to photograph in the area SW of Perth that the US NTSB identified, then AEIGO (Aussie sat intel) interpreted the images and found it. We'll see.

...except "we all know" US has super-secret intelligence tools and keeps things secret.

How tiring.

And since they are coordinating. To use fire language, they are the incident command, so it makes sense they get it. Given that at least three other countries have eyes on the sky...
