KS Dem gubernatorial candidate wants to expand Medicaid.

I've been trying really hard to get a statement from the Davis campaign and finally did. Here's what they said:

"Paul Davis believes that Kansans deserve better than the dysfunction they have seen in Governor Brownback’s KanCare program. As governor, Davis will conduct a top to bottom review of KanCare and ensure that patients get the care they deserve and hospitals and providers receive payment they are owed.

Paul Davis also believes that Governor Brownback owes the people of Kansas a decision on Medicaid expansion, an issue he has dodged for over a year. Davis will put party labels aside to do what is best for the people of Kansas."

Very carefully written but still looks good for our desire to have Medicaid Expansion for Kansas. Brownback has prevented us from getting the initial year of funding but Davis can change that once he gets into office.
