KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA—Following a host of conflicting reports in the wake of the mysterious disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 last Saturday, representatives from the Kuala Lumpur–based carrier acknowledged they had widened their investigation into the vanished Boeing 777 aircraft today to encompass not only the possibilities of mechanical failure, pilot error, terrorist activity, or a botched hijacking, but also the overarching scope of space, time, and humankind’s place in the universe.

where I really can't take any coverage seriously until the plane is found. After the whole "Chinese satellite photos" chapter it's clear to me that there is no rhyme or reason to the information coming out in the media.

5. I've got a failry decent sense of humor

and I usually like "The Onion" but I think posting this is in horrendously bad taste. Over 200 people are missing, and their families are in agony. I'm going to suggest something I've suggested maybe 2 other times since I've been on DU and that is to recommend you delete your post.
