Paul Ryan: Democrats offering 'full stomachs and empty soul'

...I had to rewind that to hear it again...Full stomach, empty soul... "Take that food-stamp and risk becoming a zombie, dependent upon government!" Call me strange, but I have a number one rule about Political parties, DO NO HARM. When did this become mainstream acceptable? I found it to be repugnant.

It's like they are trying to "OUT TROLL" each other.

Just reading about it is bad enough. He seems to be trying to make mean-spirited sound compassionate...nice trick if you can manage it.

The guy who brokered the deal to send a bunch of mentally challenged men to work in an Iowa chicken processing plant for $65/mo take home pay had this to say about the fight in the courts to get justice for these men:

“They were paying their own way, they were holding down a job, and they weren’t depending on the government,” he says. And yes, he says, he misses the “boys.”

“It’s like children. You know?”

Mr. Henry says he is appealing the unfavorable verdict in the E.E.O.C. case. As for all those lawyers and social workers and “bureaucrats” who say the company exploited the men — well, he says, they were hoodwinked.

“They got conned,” he says. “Some guys with I.Q.s of 60 and 70 conned them, and they never even knew it.”

and didn't ask about their souls. 3,000 times the Bible speaks to feeding the hungry and healing the sick. Suddenly Paul Ryan knows the souls of the hungry better than Jesus? I don't think so. He preaches hunger and charity to only those who are wealthy enough to help him personally. He doesn't need any help.

And feeding people takes away their souls? What religion says that? I thought he was Catholic.

what use is a full soul without it? That hierarchy of needs thing - Lyan is trying to turn it upside down. A full soul is not of an interest to people still working on the lower level needs.

to do our duty to your cronies and their obscenely bloated bank accounts.

If we really had SOULs we would care more about the bejillionaires than about making sure our children and our disabled and our elderly have food to eat.

Because Jesus said "Starve, thou poor and downtrodden, so that thy rich fucks can have more and more and more and more and more and just be happy that thy rich fucks allow you to LIVE at all in your hovels and tents!"

From the Book of Greed, Chapter 1, Verse 666
