When Was the Last Time we Saw a Crowd Like This? 30,000 for Trayvon.

This is a serious question. I don't know when a protest drew a crowd like this without months of advance planning.

Hell, we have trouble getting people to organize enough to March on D.C. for just about anything.

I'm reminded of some of the Obama Crowds we saw in 2008.

It's like the universe just tilted on its axis. I want a picture of that crowd.

In an instant my family and relatives were at the capitol protesting. We did not respond to any appeal for protestors or advertising. Anyone who says this is ill informed. We ran into relatives there that we hadn't spoken to in months and there we were side by side chanting, "this is what democracy looks like!"
40 thousand, 50 thousand and it kept on growing from there.
Like Madison, this murder in Florida strikes a cord of the same depth if not deeper when the tyrant Walker came to town.

...who in the hell approved that crap.

Pretty much someone can kill another person and just say it was self defense no matter what the evidence and they become that much harder to prosecute.

Is usually a really good, objective site for world news. Ranks right up there with BBC

link to his dad speaking. But jeez -- it was Al Sharpton who organized the thing! Maybe they had it earlier, but didn't see any thing just now.

Same thing that happens on any rally -- thousands of people coming together to make a statement aren't important, apparently.
