Headline had me thinking for a second. Still a few decades from being able to have a President Moonbeam.

Hillary spoke at our campus after Bill's nomination and I had a sign that read "Clinton in 92" on one side and, "Brown in 96" on the other.

She was not pleased. Yes, Hillary Clinton has scowled at me.

Royko's dead, Jerry is the governor all over again. He will win again, Royko will still be dead.
He got called 'Moonbeam' for having environmental concerns, decriminalizing marijuana and consensual adult sex, for having fiscally prudent policies along with progressive intentions. So terrible.

I was living in Chicago in '79, and he reported about how astute the speech by Brown had been at the Democratic convention. As I recall he described it as the only intelligent speech he heard there.
