Christie Still Has 'No Idea' If Former Aide Orchestrated Lane Closures

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) said Wednesday night he still has "no idea" whether former top aide Bridget Kelly orchestrated the George Washington Bridge lane closures on her own, according to The Newark Star-Ledger.

The comment came during Christie's regular "Ask the Governor" radio program on WKXW. According to the Star-Ledger, Christie also made an apparent reference to his recent town hall events, where he took questions from the public and where no questions have come up about the bridge scandal.

“You folks are the only folks at the moment who are asking me about this,” Christie told host Eric Scott

The lane closures, which in September caused a massive traffic jam in Fort Lee, N.J., have prompted multiple investigations currently underway, including one being conducted by the U.S. Attorney's Office in New Jersey. Documents released last month by state lawmakers included an email -- "Time for some traffic problems in Fort Lee" -- sent Aug. 13 by Kelly, who was then serving as Christie's deputy chief of staff, to the former Port Authority of New York and New Jersey executive who then oversaw the closures.

Christie is probably one of these bosses who hint about achieving something, adding, that he "does not want to know" any details. And his employees, the ones who have survived, know exactly how to please him.

5. Impossible, and still making the claim after the information is known is clownish. Still,

...he's saying he has no idea if his aides "orchestrated" it, which means he's imagining some other entity is the culprit. Some other entity was able to rally his entire inner circle to act under his nose.

To your point, if he gave them a "hint" and they carried it out, then he's lying. He would be that imaginary culprit.
