Did you notice? The cops who killed Luis Rodriguez didn't even attempt CPR.

I don't care what they claim he did before the video started running. I don't care if he was cooperative or if he lashed out -- though I doubt he did.

What I do care about is that when the police realized that he wasn't breathing, they didn't do anything except call for an aid car. Not a single one of them even attempted to give him CPR. They let him die without lifting a damn finger. Every one of them should be kicked off the force. There's just no excuse for this. None.

It was supposed to be a fun family outing to the movies, but then Nair Rodriguez’ 19-year-old daughter got under her skin. They fought, she said, and she slapped her daughter.

Cell phone video taken by Luis Rodriguez’s wife Nair and released this week shows the final minutes of the takedown when police confronted Luis after a family dispute.

Moments later, police arrived on a domestic dispute call at the Moore, Oklahoma, theater and confronted — not Nair Rodriguez — but her husband Luis. They took him down, and after the encounter on February 15, he was dead.

Cell phone video taken by his wife and released this week shows the final minutes of the takedown.

Nair Rodriguez accuses officers of brutality. Police say they were following protocol and used no undue force.

and start CPR. I couldn't believe they just propped him up (to look alive, imo) and waited for EMS, because I do believe I saw one of them do a sneaky sort of half-assed quick check for a pulse.

they very well could have tried one on the ankle, too. Yes, they needed to start CPR, STAT. What a horrible story. I can't imagine how terrified his wife was .... even as much as they tried to hide it all from her.

The list of the offenses that are punishable by summary execution! We give fair trials to all sorts of degenerates and bad actors in our society-especially if you shoot unarmed black kids! We accept the summary administration of the death penalty to people just going about their business all the time in this country. I doubt there will be any punishment for these cops.

Especially while being recorded.

She kept asking if he was alive, they said yes and one officer repeatedly distracted her and blocked her view. They were fully aware that they were on camera and purposefully did not perform CPR to make it appear he was fine. I bet the hospital will say he came in unresponsive, but alive, and suffered a massive heart attack and died. The coroner will then say his death was due to existing heart disease and arterial blockages and the cops will walk.

When you take them down put all your weight on their back until they stop strugeling...and of course when they cannot breath they will struggle...so when they stop they are already dead or near to it.
And once they are sure he is throughly unconscious then stand around him and get your story strait....SOP for the PD.
