CAITLIN MACNEAL FEBRUARY 25, 2014, 3:30 PM EST
Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh on Tuesday said that "homosexual advocates" were bullying Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer (R) to veto a controversial anti-gay bill that's been described by some state Republicans as religious freedom legislation.
"Religious beliefs, as Allah knows, religious beliefs can't be used to stop anything the left wants to impose, unless they're Muslim religious beliefs, then we have to honor those," he said on his show. "But any other religious beliefs, not permitted, the left will not allow them."
Limbaugh added that even if Brewer does veto the bill, liberals would still be unhappy.
"I mean, you might think on the face of it it would make her a hero with the news media and the rest of the left, and maybe so, but for five minutes, and then she'll go back to being a near-criminal conservative Republican or worse," he said, adding that some have criticized her for considering a veto for economic reasons.

Maybe you have the wrong Christian friends, Mr. Limbaugh.
